Erin Barry is a Senior Consultant at InfraStrategies where she focuses her practice on strategic planning, transportation policy, and innovation in partnerships and procurement. Erin is skilled in project financing, grant writing, community engagement, public speaking, environmental permitting, and intergovernmental collaboration.
Prior to joining InfraStrategies, Erin was a Senior Regional Planner at the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), where she developed partnerships with regional transit agencies and municipalities to conceptualize and design pilot projects in the areas of Big Data, Open Loop Payment, Universal Basic Mobility, and Mobility Hubs and oversaw grant awards to County Transportation Commissions.
Prior to SCAG, Erin was a Senior Management Analyst at the City of Ventura, California, where she oversaw all financing, public outreach, and environmental permitting activities associated with the City’s largest-ever capital investment, a $400 million purified recycled water program. In this role, Erin managed closings of federal loan programs totaling $174 million for two municipal enterprise funds and led workshops for program strategic planning and visioning.
Erin began her career as an Environmental Consultant at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC, where she led environmental policy and permitting for coastal infrastructure projects.
Erin is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College.
