Sophie brings 18 years of experience advising a range of public and private clients on strategic and capital planning, public-private partnerships, federal sources of funding and financing (TIFIA, FTA, and FRA), and project finance. Sophie has served as financial advisor, led projects and managed programs in public transit, high-speed and passenger rail, highways and toll facilities. She has worked on projects with complex financing structures and multiple sources of funding including debt (TIFIA loans, Private Activity Bonds, commercial debt), grants (FTA and FRA capital grants) and equity. Prior to joining InfraStrategies, Sophie worked for Transurban, and for Booz Allen Hamilton, where she served as practice lead for transportation finance and economics and co-practice lead for rail and transit. Her clients included several USDOT modal agencies and the TIFIA credit program.
Sophie holds an M.A. in International Economics and an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University, and an M.A. from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. She is a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Economics and Finance, and currently serves as the President of the Washington, DC chapter of WTS.
