Amanda is a Partner at InfraStrategies with over 13 years of infrastructure funding experience. She specializes in crafting project financial strategies, developing and advancing multibillion dollar infrastructure programs, positioning projects for federal grants and loans, and identifying potential state, local, and private funding options to fill project funding gaps. Amanda is currently advising several transit expansion programs in the Southeast that are advancing local ballot initiatives, including Nashville, Tennessee (November 2024), Horry County, South Carolina (November 2024), Gwinnett County, Georgia (November 2024), Cobb County, Georgia (November 2024), and Charlotte, North Carolina. She is also advising on several other national transit programs and projects as they advance through design, environmental reviews, construction, and revenue service, including several projects that are navigating federal discretionary grant and loan programs, including the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Capital Investment Grant (CIG) and USDOT Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) Loan programs.
Prior to launching InfraStrategies, Amanda worked for two major consulting firms as a specialist in infrastructure financial strategies. She also previously worked for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority and Norfolk Southern. Amanda holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She recently served as the Treasurer of the WTS Charlotte Metro chapter.
