David Boyer recently joined InfraStrategies as a Senior Consultant bringing over a decade of public and private sector professional experience. He focuses his practice on strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, mobility innovation, acquisitions regulations and contract management. He is a transportation engineer by training and a business-minded problem solver by practice.
Prior to joining InfraStrategies, David was the Senior Manager of Insights & Analytics at the Augusta National Golf Club where he managed continuous improvement projects across various operations business lines including supply chain, merchandise, concessions, human resources, parking, and transportation. His team was responsible for providing financial and operational analytics for the Club and the Masters Tournament including financial business cases, capital planning, infrastructure investment, and real-time dashboard applications.
As a Strategy & Operations Senior Consultant and Manager with Deloitte Consulting, David served public sector clients at the federal, state, and local levels with a focus on transportation and infrastructure strategy, financial planning, and operational analysis. His client engagements were cutting-edge and complex involving unique operational and funding/financing challenges.
Prior to joining Deloitte, David conducted research in pedestrian infrastructure at Georgia Tech while pursuing a graduate degree in Transportation Systems Engineering as well as an MBA from Scheller College of Business. His thesis developed a financial model for pedestrian infrastructure asset management. David began his professional career as United States naval officer in the Civil Engineer Corps. During his two tours he served in leadership roles within the domains of construction management, infrastructure planning, and contingency engineering operations.
